Camp is just a few days away, and we are looking forward to about 50 campers showing up for a full weekend of music workshops, jam sessions, a concert and showcase, wonderful food and great company.

For your quick reference, here is a brief schedule of events for the weekend:

Friday May 1

7 - 11 pm Welcome Reception

Bring your instrument and meet your fellow campers and instructors in a casual jam session setting. Cash bar. Snacks will be provided. Your information kit and badge will be issued. Sessions Lounge downstairs at Bras d'Or Lakes Inn.

Saturday June 1

9:00 - 9:15 am Orientation meeting for all campers and instructors

Water and juice packs provided for your  morning break. Sessions Lounge, Bras d'Or Lakes Inn.

Workshops

Workshops take place between 9:30 and 4:30 on Saturday, and 9:30 - 10:30 on Sunday morning. See map and  schedule below for workshop times and locations.

12:15 - 1:15 pm Lunch

Bras d'Or Lakes Inn Dining Room. Pick up your liquid refreshments for afternoon break downstairs, before you head out for the afternoon.

5:30 - 7 pm Supper

Join us for a chat and drinks in the Bras d'Or Lakes dining room at 5:30. Buffet supper 6 pm.

7:45 - 10:15 All Star Concert

St. Peter's United Church Sanctuary, Grenville Street.

10:30 +  Late Night Jam

Sunday June 2

8:30 - 12:00  Artisans Show and Sale

Please come out and see a wide range of craft and culinary creations. Meet the local artisans who are putting this new event on for Music Camp on the Canal.

9:30 - 10:30  Workshop and band labs

12:15 - 2:00 pm Lunch and Band Lab Showcase

New bands formed in the camp labs are showcased in the weekend's grand finale after lunch. Bras d'Or Lakes Inn dining room.
