Each year since Music Camp on the Canal began we have strived to make this event as accessible as possible for young people in Richmond County. Our goal is to help budding musicians in our community benefit from the incredible workshops & instructors, and to mix and mingle with like-minded traditional music enthusiasts from near and far. Our Bursary Program has been supported by local businesses, organizations and individuals who contribute funds, which are used to cover the registration fees for deserving young musicians.

We have embarked on our Bursary Sponsorship campaign again this year and invite residents of Richmond County who are full time students to apply for a bursary. Bursaries will be awarded based on selection by music teachers in our public schools. Dependant on how much money we raise, and how many applications we receive, bursaries may cover partial or full registration fees this year.
